About Us Gabriel Communications was started in 1996. Owned and operated by long-time disc jockey, Larry Black, the company specializes in “Reunion Videos.” Black first applied the “Reunion Video” concept to the legends of country music. The idea was simple: Ask the great people who shaped country music to get together and talk about their history, and maybe sing a few songs. From this idea, Country’s Family Reunion was born. More than 30 country music legends got together for that first taping to tell their stories and sing their songs. The success of this series spurred the creation of more than a dozen more projects featuring hundreds of songs and stories. You can find all of our music reunion products under the Country’s Family Reunion portion of this Web site. In the spring of 2003, Larry Black had another idea. Why not get together the great players and coaches from the top collegiate football programs in the nation to relive their memories? So, in the fall of 2003, the Alabama Football Legends Reunion and the Oklahoma Football Legends Reunion were launched. Featuring rare footage and never-before-heard stories, players spanning six and seven decades joined in to talk about their favorite games, rivalries, and coaches. The on going success of these projects enabled Gabriel Communications to begin working with other universities. Our Mission To align with people committed to entertain the family and its members, communicating a positive, inspiring direction. This includes all areas of entertainment including, but not limited to, television and radio, movies, music, comedy, and children's programs.
